When do I have my custom shower door and mirrors measured?

Upon the completion of tile or marble installed in shower and the vanities are installed.

How do I determine the thickness of a glass table top?

If the glass is a protective cover to place on top of table ¼” glass will be sufficient. If the glass is the table top 3/8” to ½” is recommended but the table must be able to support the weight of the glass.

How do I choose the width of a bevel for a piece of glass/mirror?

Depends if it fits into a frame, the frame will increase the bevel width about ¼”. The bevel width can be determined if it needs to match another item in the room with a bevel. The common bevel width is 1” unless used in a frame.

What is the difference between a custom shower door and a shower door kit purchased at a local home improvement store?

The major difference is the quality of the shower door and fit. The fit of the door is more exact since David Glass & Mirror measures the dimensions for their doors and allows for out of square differences. The shower doors can be coated in the factory to reduce the cleaning efforts.

What are the terms for the purchases?

Because we are a custom shower door and glass installer/supplier we require 50% down payment upon placement of your order, and the 50% balance to be paid upon completion of the job.

Is financing available?

No, we do not finance.

Can a mirror be removed and cut down and re-installed?

Yes, but there is no guarantee of the mirror being removed, if it breaks we will not be held liable.

Do we remove mirrors from walls?

Yes, but we do not attempt to keep or resell these mirrors.

Do we accept credit cards?

Yes, there is an additional fee for credit cards of 3.5% or $2.00 whichever is greater.
